Sports Day

Sports Day takes place every June in the Waterworks and it is the highlight of the Sporting year in Holy Family when everyone in our school community comes together for a lovely day out! Nursery, KS1 and KS2 Sports Days are all held separately and each day is a lot of fun. 

Each child in Nursery and KS1 gets a celebratory sticker of participation while the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place boy and girl in each KS2 class receives a medal. 

We have running races, relay races, obstacle races, beanbag races, javelin throw and standing jump competitions. Not forgetting the eagerly anticipated parent/guardian sprint race!! Combine this fun and laughter with ice pops, sunny weather and the thought of Summer holidays just around the corner - what a perfect way to end the year!
