Sport in Holy Family Primary School

Holy Family Primary School recognises the importance of Sports in the curriculum and we offer a wide range of activities in line with the 5 elements of the P.E curriculum. KS1 and KS2 have a balanced timetable encompassing Games, Athletics, Gymnastics and Dance. P5 - P7 attend swimming lessons in the Grove Wellbeing Centre for one term each academic year.

We are involved in the Sports NI "Everybody Active 2020" programme and as a result, have been able to bring in coaches from Netball NI and Athletics NI as well as Badminton and Bowls coaches.

In addition to this, we offer a wide range of after-school sports clubs as part of our Sports and Extended Schools programme.

Children from Primary 5 - Primary 7 can attend:

  • GAA
  • Netball
  • Soccer
  • Irish Dancing
  • Athletics
