Music is an important element of the curriculum in Holy Family and our children are provided with a variety of opportunities to perform and develop their musical talents.
The choir is made up of pupils from P4-P7 and plays a important part in the life of our school. From carol singing at Christmas, to performing at concerts, sacraments, and school shows, our choir is certainly kept busy throughout the year and the children do a wonderful job enriching events with their beautiful singing!
Our music department is growing every year and we are very proud to currently have over 60 children availing of instrument lessons in school. Pupils have the opportunity to learn how to play the violin, recorder, tin whistle and flute. As our musicians grow in confidence and ability, they are invited to join the Traditional Group or Senior Recorder Club to gain experience performing for an audience.
