Stormont Buildings Tour

As part of the Our Time, Our Place topic in term one, we visited Stormont Buildings and even had a chance to debate in the NI Assembly chamber!

Blackberry Picking

In September, we studied the poem Blackberry Picking by Irish poet, Seamus Heaney.  We discussed and examined the imagery used in the poem and used watercolours to recreate our favourite images.

Eco Fun!

Mrs McCallan's class really enjoyed their eco visit to Alexandra Park. We got up close and personal with lots of creatures and we even planted our own seeds to take home and nurture.

BTC Transition Programme

Throughout the year, we have the chance to experience what life is like in post-primary school.  Have a look at what we got up to in Blessed Trinity College....

Lord Mayor's Visit

The First Citizen of Belfast dropped in to say hello to P7 and to answer questions about her role as Lord Mayor.  The children asked some excellent interesting question and were given some equally interesting answers.

First Aid Workshop

We had a very informative session with the Red Cross during our Youth First Aid workshop.  We learned how to get help in an emergency situation and what to do if a family member becomes unwell.  We even had a go at some basic resuscitation.
