This week, Primary 6 joined the rest of the school in celebrating ‘Catholic Schools Week 2026’. This year’s theme was inspired by the late Pope Francis and Saint Carlo Acutis; ‘Catholic Schools - Normal Lives, Called to Holiness’. The theme emphasises that holiness is achieved through everyday acts of kindness, faith, and love rather than extraordinary feats, focusing on integrating spirituality into daily school and family life.
Throughout the week, P6 made friendship and exchanged friendship brackets along with positive quotes/ messages, designed and created heart-warming cards that will be sent to the Children’s Hospice NI as well as carried out some research on an interesting modern day Saint, Saint Carlo Acutis. It was a lovely time of discussion and reflection with lots of kindness and love being shown.
